Burke America, a Chicago-based private holding company, announced that it has acquired C.E. Sundberg Company. Headquartered in Chicago, C.E. Sundberg Company is the oldest and third-largest appliance repair parts distributor in the United States.

Founded in 1912, C.E. Sundberg Company has grown to be a leading distributor of replacement parts for household appliances and HVAC, operating 19 locations across the Midwest, as well as serving customers online. The distributor carries an extensive inventory of authorized parts and accessories for major appliance lines.

No changes in personnel, pricing, policies and service are anticipated. Following the acquisition, former owners Kirby and Mark Smith will stay on, sharing their expertise.
