Delhi teenage Aakanksha Matthews has joined the much anticipated Murdercap Records publicity campaign for the CD "MURDERCAP RECORDS PRESENTS: DETRIOT/MURDERCAP RECORDS II" to be released in December. Aakanksha brings the East to the West as a dancer and model in several riveting music videos, commercials and photo spreads. Aakanksha is a dynamo with unending energy in the spots as she whirls her way through the projects with the ease of a seasoned professional. The commericials will begin airing on MTV, VH1, and BET in the Summer.
Aakanksha was discovered by Murdercap Records CEO Jerome Almon through the internet chat site Facebook. Aakanksha sent numerous photos of herself after the rap mogul contacted her showing her versatility as a model. Aakanksha sent photos of her in traditional Indian clothing, her school girl out fit, and as India's number one rock fan. The photos so impressed the rap kingpin that he immediately offered her a contract. After numerous conversations the two set up a meet in Delhi with the Murdercap Records bombshell model Bajita Singh. Ms. Singh and Mr. Almon are scheduled to arrive in Delhi in in June to meet with Ms. Matthews to discuss future plans.
Aakanksha will also star in ad campaigns for the 3 clothing lines the label is debuting in 2010 and the its jewelry line. Aakanksha is sure to be one of the top new stars of the global entertainment world in the very near future. Her dedication to her profession and strong work ethic will surely catch the eye of Bollywood and Hollywood, bringing many more opportunities her way as she climbs the ladder to stardom. The eighteen year old starlet is also planning to attend a US university for journalism.
