Internationally-recognized translation services provider expands its project management team with the addition of an experienced professional dedicated to delivering quality translation services coupled with superior customer service.

World Translation Center, one of the world’s leading translation services companies, announced today the addition of Uta J. Nelson to its project management team. Ms. Nelson, a native of Germany raised in Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland, has been in international business for over twelve years. After graduating from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland with a degree in finance and accounting, she began her career working in international banking in Brussels, using her French and tackling some Flemish. Her next stop brought her to Vienna, Austria, where she continued her career in banking.

Attending Italian schools, speaking German at home, attending a Swiss-German university and working in French and English have made her proficient in all four languages. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1998, she saw how fluency in several languages was a rare and valuable asset in the United States, and began her work in the translation field as Project Manager for a locally-based media translation company. After five years, Uta took what she describes as a “brief detour” into the legal field as a paralegal. It didn’t take long for her to realize, however, that she missed the challenges of conducting business and forming relationships on a global scale. World Translation Center’s management, aware of Ms. Nelson’s professionalism and project management skills, convinced her to return to the translation services business.

A Company spokesperson commented on the addition, “Our Project Managers coordinate our client’s translation projects throughout the world. Of course, we want individuals in these positions who are intelligent, competent and professional. Equally important, however, they must mirror the Company’s philosophy of commitment to superior customer service. We know Uta and we know her work product; she is a perfect match for us.”

In addition to her project management expertise, Ms. Nelson has considerable experience in web translation projects, including web-animations, video subtitling, and translations requiring desktop publishing. As part of her project management responsibilities, she will be coordinating interpreters for depositions and other legal translations and will head up the Company’s certified translation business.

World Translation Center is a full-service translation company with thousands of dedicated language professionals located around the world. The Company has completed projects for governmental organizations, not-for-profits and businesses of all sizes, from Fortune 500 companies to sole proprietorships. It can be found on the web at http://www.worldtranslationcenter.com.
