Fans have given an enthusiastic reception to Sandi Genovese as she launches her new scrapbooking and crafting program, The Scrapbook Showgram, found at http://www.scrapbookshowgram.com. Sandi is a multitalented author, artist and educator who has traveled the country demonstrating the latest in scrapbooking and paper crafting. A frequent contributor to national magazines, her many fans got to know her primarily through her years as host of the television show, “DIY Scrapbooking,” which currently airs reruns on the Home and Garden Television Network (HGTV). She has also had numerous guest appearances on such television shows as Good Morning America, The View and The Carol Duvall Show.
Sandi is thrilled about her new venture. “I’m excited, because since we stopped shooting ‘DIY Scrapbooking’ I’ve had countless requests from viewers to return and share with them. We’ll post a new scrapbooking or crafting project each week, and will keep all of the past episodes, building a great, searchable project library for our viewers.”
As word of her return has spread through the scrapbooking and crafting community, the reaction has been universally enthusiastic.
Fan Elizabeth Chonona comments “I was so happy to find your page. You were the reason I started to scrapbook more than ten years ago. I loved to watch your show and I learned everything I know now from you. Happy you are back and I will start scrapbooking again. Thank you for coming back.”
Another loyal viewer, Trish shares “Thanks so much for giving us all back your wonderful ideas! You were such an inspiration to me whenever I hit a dry spell, and now, I know that whenever it happens again, I can turn to your “Showgram” for help! Thanks again!”
Sandi has a long history of sharing her creativity throughout the crafting niche, and her warm smile and easygoing personality made her an obvious for “DIY Scrapbooking” and now “The Scrapbook Showgram.” In addition, she has helped develop many innovative crafting products, workshops and die-cut designs and has been a spokesperson for several companies including Kodak, Nikon, Ellison and Mrs. Grossman’s Paper Company. She writes a syndicated newspaper column (see http://www.scrippsnews.com/node/539930) and has shared her creativity in several books, including Designer Scrapbooks with Sandi Genovese, Creative Greeting Cards, and Pop Up Cards with Sandi Genovese, available through the Scrapbook Showgram site. Sandi currently licenses her designs with several companies and her licensed products can be found in stores nationwide, including pop up scrapbooks in Babies R Us and dimensional greeting cards on QVC (see http://scrapbookshowgram.com/?page_id=67)
Sandi loves the new web TV format. “Unlike our broadcast show, our audience can go online whenever they like and access the programs. With this format, we have time to show the projects in detail and the viewer can easily follow along. He or she can even pause the program to catch up with me as the project is being made.”
Crafters and scrapbookers can enjoy a new project posted each Thursday at http://www.scrapbookshowgram.com. All episodes are kept online for later reference.
