“It’s time to change the way we think about our ability to succeed and positively impact ourselves and the world on however large or small a scale..."
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 8, 2010
LiftVibe.com, a new and dynamic social media website launched in June, 2010, is providing a refreshing source of inspiration and motivation in the wake of the recent recession.
LiftVibe is an online community where people can encourage themselves, others, and the world around them by sharing text and multimedia content. Users are prompted to make uplifting posts called “vibes” to motivate themselves and others with the progress of personal goals, accomplishments, inspirational stories, etc. The site provides people an inviting and enjoyable place to go for such inspiration and encouragement.
What distinguishes LiftVibe from other online social networks is its emphasis on shared positivity and the versatility of its content, including videos, pictures, and text.
LiftVibe allows you to:
· Submit posts on a user-friendly message board
· Access & share motivational content via text and multimedia formats
· Track your own goals & those of others
· See "Who You Inspire" & note "Who Inspires You"
· Enjoy building & sharing a personal content library full of your favorite videos, articles, and pictures
Co-Founders (and childhood friends) Adam Chudwin and Josh Goldstein created LiftVibe as a way to help counteract the overall negativity which has been magnified by the economic downturn. As recent college graduates, both saw firsthand how the shrinking job market has affected the perspective of themselves and their friends. Recognizing the many challenges life throws at people, the two saw the need for a unique community aimed at uplifting not only young people, but people of all ages.
“It’s time to change the way we think about our ability to succeed and positively impact ourselves and the world on however large or small a scale. We believe now, more than ever, is the time to celebrate achievements and anything else that may provide positivity to either ourselves or others,” said Chudwin. "Whether it's acing an exam, accomplishing a personal goal, or even just holding a door for a stranger, we invite everyone to share these experiences with the LiftVibe community."
Chudwin and Goldstein expect the LiftVibe movement to spread quickly, carrying its motto to anyone with an Internet connection: “Lift Yourself, Lift Others, Lift Humanity."
