Dr. Abrams, a San Jose, CA Ophthalmologist, is supporting an essay contest that rewards good deeds done by children and teenagers to encourage them to make the right choices in life. Participants should perform a good deed, write a short essay about what he or she did, and submit it to the office of Dr. Abrams for a chance to win a new computer.

Abrams LASIK Vision Center is giving away a brand new computer to the winner of their “Do A Good Deed Contest,” open to any youth eighteen years of age and under.

The contest is open to all youth who are willing to perform a good deed and write a short essay about what (s) he did, why (s) he chose to do it, and what happened as a result. The contest ends September 14th, 2010; all participants should send in their essays about their good deed to Abrams LASIK Vision Center by that date. To enroll in the contest, participants should either visit the website or call the office

The public can help by forwarding this worthy cause to any youth and/or youth group(s) they are able to get in contact with and encouraging them to start doing good deeds for their family, friends, schools, and communities.

The best way for youth to enter is by visiting the website and clicking on the “Do A Good Deed” tab at the top of the page to fill out the form. The prize will be given away around September 28th, 2010.

Dr. Abrams is dedicated to rewarding the good deeds of youth in the community and hopes that taking notice of a job well done will prompt even more good deeds. “Everybody on this planet has a vested interest in providing a stable foundation of moral values for our youngsters. I believe that children deserve a helping hand in making right choices and in determining a course of action to achieve their goals without compromising their morals,” said Dr. Abrams of the promotion. The contest closes September 14th, 2010; essays must be completed and turned in before that day.
