Christian College in Oregon Announces Application Deadline for Full-Time MBA Program

Those interested in joining George Fox University’s fall cohort have until July 1 to apply

The final application date for those interested in enrolling in George Fox University’s Full-Time MBA program this fall is set for Thursday, July 1.

Applications may be submitted online at Classes for the one-year program begin on Aug. 16 and end in June of 2011. Financial aid is available.

The Full-Time MBA is designed for recent graduates who wish to improve their marketability and understanding in the business world. The 11-month program employs an ethics-based, holistic curriculum with a global perspective, according to program director Jeff VandenHoek.

Classes are held on the university’s Newberg, Ore., campus and meet Monday through Thursday. A Friday seminar course often involves travel, as students visit corporations in the greater Portland area.

The George Fox School of Business also offers a Part-Time MBA program at its Portland and Boise centers and at a downtown Portland (World Trade Center) location. The 26-month, 42-credit-hour program meets once a week from 6 to 10 p.m., plus occasional Saturdays. New cohorts begin in September and January.

In addition, the School of Business offers a 56-credit-hour Doctor of Business Administration program that prepares Christian business educators to teach effectively in the college or university classroom. The three-year course features online classes, web-enhanced hybrid courses, and three residency visits to its Newberg, Ore., campus.

At the undergraduate level, the university offers degrees in accounting, marketing, management, economics, global business, entrepreneurship and finance.
