Inspired by one woman’s striking art, Dr. Rebecca Hayward Mitchell unleashes her literary prowess to share heartening poems and breathtaking sculptures to readers. Released through Xlibris, Her Sculptures Speak To My Soul is a poetry-picture anthology crafted in tribute of her talented mother.
Lithern Hayward’s gentle and hardworking hands – hands that clapped at a daughter’s achievements, and wiped away tears – also created beautiful and stunning sculptures. Her daughter, the author, pens in this release uplifting poems inspired by her work. Each verse is tailored to speak to the soul and lift up the heart, conveying that it is important to put faith and hope in God, for with Him all things are possible. Her Sculptures Speak To My Soul marshals hand-carved sculptures that exude how it is never too late to discover, develop, and pursue God-given talent and/or passion and to find a voice that can be heard by everyone.
A picture book that combines stunning visual images with insightful verses, Her Sculptures Speak To My Soul will visually satisfy and emotionally ignite readers with its impressive artwork and thought-provoking insights.
This book will be featured in the 2010 National Education Association Book Exhibit in New Orleans, LA, on July 1-3, 2010. Readers who wish to learn more about this book can log on to Xlibris.com.
