Author Darrell F. Litsinger has been through a lot in his life—the Great Depression and World War II, to name a few. He shares how The Hands of Time molded him into the man that he is today through his memoir published through Xlibris.
Life is one challenging journey filled with many trials and tribulations as well as blessings and joys. In The Hands of Time, Litsinger reveals his lifestyle involving many lifetime experiences with the use of his hands—from his occupation, to music, and various interests. He recounts the circumstances of his unexpected birth, and the challenges that his generation faced like The Great Depression and the Second World War, which affected so many of them. He also shares anecdotes and cherished memories with his loved ones.
As the author reminisces on the past, he points out to readers the very same conditions that the current economy is experiencing right now, with a few exceptions. Only time will tell how the people will handle the present circumstances. But Litsinger hopes that in sharing his life, people will be able to relate with his experiences and perhaps learn from them.
This book will be featured at this year’s American Library Association Annual Book Exhibit in Washington, DC on June25-28, 2010. For more information on The Hands of Time, log on to Xlibris.com.
