“As co-founder and CTO, Buinevicius has provided the product and technology vision that has given ChannelAdvisor the leadership position at the intersection of e-commerce and software-as-a-service,” said Scot Wingo, ChannelAdvisor CEO and co-founder.

ChannelAdvisor, a solution provider that enables online retailers to improve efficiency and increase revenue, today announced that ChannelAdvisor Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Aris Buinevicius has been named to IDG’s InfoWorld CTO 25 Awards. Each year, the InfoWorld CTO 25 Awards honor senior IT executives who have demonstrated leadership within their companies and the IT community.

“As co-founder and CTO, Buinevicius has provided the product and technology vision that has given ChannelAdvisor the leadership position at the intersection of e-commerce and software-as-a-service,” said Scot Wingo, ChannelAdvisor CEO and co-founder.

Buinevicius’ pivotal role in transitioning ChannelAdvisor static data to a true dynamic data warehouse, while maintaining a tightened budget, was the grounds for his nomination to the InfoWorld CTO 25 Awards. Without disrupting the online sales of ChannelAdvisor’s retailer customers, Buinevicius and his team migrated transactional data and centralized it to the data warehouse. As a result of these efforts, retailers can now review detailed product data that will enable them to make performance-based decisions to improve their online sales.

“I’m honored to receive the InfoWorld CTO 25 Award and to be included among a selection of the best of my peers,” said Buinevicius. “It should be noted that none of my accomplishments would have been possible without the endless dedication and creativity of our development team.”

“The ability to be innovative and cost-effective was very evident in this year's InfoWorld CTO 25 winning entries. These IT leaders combined management savvy, technological insight, and the ability to lead a team to success despite difficult circumstances,” said Galen Gruman, executive editor of news and features for InfoWorld. “This year's honorees reinvented untenable legacies, provided game-changing insight, and managed both their own teams and key organization stakeholders to make their businesses succeed through the use of technology. Our honorees did much more than implement technology well; they brought its use to a new level.”
