They will also play a key role in designing and implementing the go-to-market strategy for FewClix, the company's soon to be launched email productivity add-on for Lotus Notes.
Jeff Lechleiter joins Synaptris from IBM where he was the Vice President of Global SMB Software and managed global sales and a multi-billion dollar revenue stream. During his tenure he consistently exceeded revenue targets every quarter in addition to achieving double-digit growth across all segments.
Jeff also held various strategic leadership roles throughout his 26-year career in IBM including Vice president of Lotus Sales (Americas), Vice President of Channels and SMB Software Sales (Americas), Vice President of WebSphere Sales (Americas), and Director of Software Telesales (Americas). He also led the worldwide transition team to integrate IBM's $2.1 billion acquisition of Rational comprising over 3,500 employees.
Edward Hasicka joins Synaptris with more than 21 years of experience at IBM. Most recently he was Director of Global Midmarket Sales and was instrumental in designing, implementing and leading the focused worldwide sales effort in the high-growth midsize enterprise software market.
From the beginning of his career at IBM, Edward drove true end-user business value from the software offerings and was tapped for multiple start-up opportunities in IBM Software. He was instrumental in establishing the sales momentum for a variety of new offerings IBM brought to market such as e-commerce, e-business software, and WebSphere business solutions. His career has spanned multiple disciplines including executive management, sales, marketing, systems engineering and visual design.
"Jeff and Eddie are seasoned software industry executives and their appointment gives us a tremendous boost in terms of market, channel and product expansion," said Madan S. Kumar, CEO of Synaptris. "I have worked with them for several years in their roles at IBM and I am thrilled to have them join our management team. They have a proven track record in scaling software businesses and their expertise and talent will strengthen our management team significantly. Their appointment comes at a timely juncture as we build upon our overall market momentum and especially with FewClix, our email productivity add-on for Lotus Notes."
"Synaptris is changing the way business users interact with and interpret data as the company continues to expand on its core competence of "user driven" information management. It is well positioned to achieve significant growth over the next year and my mission is to drive the growth and achieve Synaptris's true potential," said Jeff Lechleiter, Chief Operating Officer of Synaptris.
"I have worked with Synaptris on several occasions over the last four years and I have been amazed at the passion, commitment and talent that I have seen in everybody I interacted with at the company. It feels great to now be a part of this team. Synaptris has been an IBM Advanced Partner since its inception which allows me continued opportunity to stay a member of the broader IBM community," added Lechleiter.
"Synaptris is a well-recognized, nimble innovator and I am really excited about the opportunity to establish its market leadership in the Americas market," remarked Edward Hasicka, Vice President of Sales, Americas for Synaptris.
