How to Profit From The Coming Inflationary Boom, And Avoid The Next Crash.

H. L. Quist, author and historical economist, who has accurately forecast all seven major turning points in the US economy since 1987, is now calling for a sudden downward reversal in the markets.
"I recommitted to equities on April 1, 2009 and have maintained a Bullish perspective on all the markets since that date. Recent Global events, however, and an unexpected downturn in leading economic indicators and the money supply in the US have caused me to rethink my position," Quist was recently quoted as saying.
In an interview on June 1st with a Wisconsin radio station, Quist said, "What is remarkable is that less than 30 days ago I was reporting on the dramatic increase in food, lumber, oil and other commodity' prices that indicated that the seeds of inflation were planted in the system. Now, this reversal, and the focus is dis-inflation and a 'double-dip recession'."
"I tend to believe that what began as a foreign debit crisis instigated the turning point for the US. The concerns are that the Greek tragedy will spread to all of Euroland, the double-digit inflation in China and Latin America, the bursting of the housing bubble in Australia plus the inability of developed countries to service their sovereign debt, have ended the Pro-Growth, leveraged trade which could take the global stock markets much lower," Quist added.
There is an ironic twist to this scenario according to Quist. He believes that the Fed and the Obama Administration will panic at the prospect of a recession heading into the mid-term elections and resort to unprecedented deficit spending and money creation that will cause -- you guessed it -- INFLATION. "We could actually see an Inflationary Depression," Quist said.
H. L. Quist is the author of five books including "The Aftermath of Greed: Get Ready For The Coming Inflationary Boom," and "How to Profit From The Coming Inflationary Boom, And Avoid The Next Crash." He publishes "The Contrarian Market View" monthly newsletter and can be heard on his weekly Internet Radio Show, "The Myth Buster."
