It’s not as easy as it use to be to find good music, and it’s even harder to find good music with substance. This is where new Bay Area artist Joe Nance steps in. Making noise on the underground for sometime now, he has emerged with a fresh sound and extraordinary passion in his debut project "Life is a Dream." Pulling out all the stops, Joe Nance raises the bar blending fun positive ideas and words of encouragement, setting a new trend, not only bringing to the table great music, a DVD, and a book, but a foundation focusing on education, the environment, and social needs. With his "Brand New" singles hitting the airwaves many are waiting to see if he can make it "Do What It Do." Does Joe Nance have what it takes to bring the Bay Area hip-hop scene back to life? Growing up in Seaside, a small town kid with big dreams, Joe Nance attended San Jose State University where he studied English prep for teaching. While in school, he wrote and published his first book, a poetry collection titled "Images of the Mind, Words from the Heart." While working as an after school facilitator, Joe Nance provided high school students with mentoring, tutoring, life skills and enrichment; giving him first hand experience in the importance of community activism. Now looking to make his own way in the world, he can’t wait to share his insight and passion with music lovers from around the world.
Blending the modern sounds of today with his unique style and approach, Joe Nance creatively showcases his love for music and life. With songs ranging from party to inspiration, truth and reflection “Life is a Dream” is a clever mix of fun feel good thought provoking music. The projects first release “Brand New” ft. In association with the “Youth Make a Difference” foundation, Joe Nance will be giving 50% of the proceeds back to participating schools. The “Youth Make a Difference” foundation is being established to encourage and reward individuals making positive changes in there lives and community, through education, volunteer work, and becoming more environmentally friendly.
