The Security Consortium, a leader in security services and consulting, today announced that it has appointed Michelle Koblas to its roster of Trusted Advisors™. Koblas has over 25 years of experience leading IT and information security functions and a background that includes product and architectural review; policy development; design and audit of security and operational controls; and network management and design. She joins a team of distinguished TSC Trusted Advisors that lead and supervise TSC customer engagements.

Michelle led Information Security teams for eBay and Cisco, and spent six years managing Cisco's internal network and Internet connectivity. Prior to that, Michelle was a research scientist for NORUT Information Technology in Norway, focused on network protocol research for one of the first video-conferencing applications to support telemedicine. She was responsible for deployment of the NASA Numerical Aerodynamic Simulation facility's first gigabyte network.
Michelle is CISSP certified and received an M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon.
