Adds Multilingual Support and Launches FewClix Beta in German at the Deutsche Notes User Group (DNUG) Spring Conference 2010 in Berlin

Businesses across the world have seen email volumes rise dramatically over the last decade and their employees are finding it harder than ever to manage the clutter

Synaptris, a leading player in the Information Management space and the market leader in the Lotus Notes information management market, today announced the public Beta availability of the German language version of FewClix (http://www.fewclix.de), an email productivity add-on for Lotus Notes that completely changes the corporate email paradigm.

Since the launch of the public beta of FewClix in English at the Lotusphere 2010 User Conference, FewClix has established a large and active beta user base and many enterprises in multilingual markets are already evaluating deployment to employees throughout their organizations. It is notable that Synaptris has already signed Enterprise License Agreements for deploying FewClix enterprise-wide on a commercial basis while the product is still in beta.

"Businesses across the world have seen email volumes rise dramatically over the last decade and their employees are finding it harder than ever to manage the clutter," said Jeff Lechleiter, Chief Operating Officer of Synaptris. "The German market is among the 3 largest markets in the world for the Lotus Notes email platform and we are launching the German Version of FewClix beta to ensure that all users are able to fully utilize all the productivity tools that FewClix delivers to achieve significant time savings. FewClix is multilingual starting today; we started with German language support as Germany is a key strategic market for Lotus Notes and FewClix. We will be adding support for additional languages based on market need." Lechleiter added.

FewClix is the first email productivity application that gives Lotus Notes email users the ability to:

  •     Prioritize email
  •     Quickly and easily locate any message in the mailbox or any archive instantly
  •     Access information across the mailbox and archives simultaneously
  •     Personalize the email experience to work more efficiently
  •     Organize email more effectively for clearing clutter or archiving messages
  •     Extend social networks dynamically via the email network

FewClix was developed with extensive user input, including users in Germany who participated in the Private Beta program prior to January 2010 and who have provided significant input since the launch of the public beta of FewClix in English.

Synaptris will exhibit the German language version of FewClix at the DNUG Spring Conference 2010 in Berlin on June 8th and 9th at booth number E11. The product is available on the Lotus Notes platform for both enterprises and individual users and can be downloaded at http://www.fewclix.de.
