Razorfish has hired Ryan Turner to become director of Social Influence Marketing in the agency's West region. Turner will devise strategies to help West region clients improve their businesses by employing social media and influencers. He is the latest addition to Razorfish's international network of Social Influence Marketing experts who service clients across 20 offices in 10 countries.
Turner will focus on Razorfish clients from the Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle offices. Based in Seattle, Turner reports to Joe Mele, managing director of Media and Marketing for the West region.
Turner joins Razorfish from ZAAZ, where he ran the company's social media practice. A 13-year veteran of the marketing and technology industries, Turner has also worked for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He has worked with clients ranging from Boeing to Microsoft.
