Identity fraud protection and theft detection company CSIdentity Corporation (http://www.CSIdentity.com) today announced the appointment of Mr. Rosendo (Ro) G. Parra to its Board of Directors. Mr. Parra, is a partner and co-founder of Daylight Partners, an Austin, Texas technology-focused venture capital firm.
Parra is a senior business leader with over 25 years of knowledge in the technology operations sector. Prior to his retirement in early 2007, Parra held various executive and management positions at Dell Inc. including SVP and GM of Dell Americas. In this role, he was responsible for Dell’s operations in manufacturing, services, sales and marketing. Preceding his senior executive promotion in 2002, Parra held a variety of general manager positions within Dell Home and Small Business, Dell Public Sector and Dell Major Accounts divisions.

Previous to joining Dell, Parra spent four years at Grid Computer Systems Inc., a producer of pen-based and ruggedized computers in Fremont, CA. While at Grid, Parra held management positions in the Federal Division, in DC and the PC Strategic Business unit in Texas. He began his career with Radio Shack, where he spent 14 years, in retail operating roles. Prior to his departure, Parra oversaw all retail operations for Radio Shack Computer Centers in the North Central Region.
Parra currently serves on the boards of Nextel International Holdings Inc., a provider of integrated mobile communication devices, and Brinker International, a casual dining company. Parra also serves on the board of Pacific Gas & Electric Company, a public utility provider.
Parra graduated from University of Maryland with a marketing degree in 1982.
