Expands scope of support to the Transition Office of Network Services within GSA

This positions GSA to take full advantage of our team of TCC-experienced and transition-qualified experts from day one supporting a low risk transition of critical TCC operations and support

Apptis, Inc., a leading provider of essential IT and communications services to key Defense and Civilian agencies, today announced the company has been awarded the Transition Coordination Center (TCC) Support Services contract through the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The contract is three years with one base year and two one year options, with the total value of $9 million over the life.

As the prime contractor, Apptis will provide various services to the GSA TCC to include telecom transition subject matter expertise, customer outreach to federal agencies—including one-on-one support—and tier II service desk support to assist the agency’s users. In addition, Apptis will continue to provide transition status reporting to the United States Congress and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), database development and administration, and program management support. This award expands Apptis’ role as a GSA partner managing and assisting agencies as they complete the transition from the FTS2001 family of contracts to Networx.

“This positions GSA to take full advantage of our team of TCC-experienced and transition-qualified experts from day one supporting a low risk transition of critical TCC operations and support,” said Skip Nowland, COO, Apptis. “It is an honor to continue to support GSA’s network transition efforts for the Office of Network Services.”

Under a previous contract, Apptis developed the metrics, data collection, analysis, and reporting procedures to deliver Transition Program status to GSA management, OMB, and Congress that provided relevant information as to the status of FTS2001 to Neworx transition across the federal government.

Included as part of the Apptis team is BCCP Consulting. BCCP is a recognized expert in transition management and a strategic partner of Apptis in providing telecommunications management solutions to the federal government.
