Fortune 1000 & FTSE 100 Companies from Three Continents Discover the Power of Possibility at the Four Seasons Miami

As a first time attendee at Dialog, Longview impressed me with the superior quality of the conference.

From May 10 to 14, 2010, Longview Solutions, a leading provider of corporate performance management (CPM) and Tax Provisioning software, hosted its 16th annual customer conference, Dialog, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida. Arguably the largest and most successful conference in Longview’s history, Dialog 2010 played host to attendees that included customers, prospects, partners, industry analysts, as well as key personnel from Longview. The theme of the sold out conference was The Power of Possibility and it was interwoven throughout the event – from the keynote presentations, hands-on learning labs, product sessions, and customer-led breakout sessions to all of the interactive networking events.

“As a first time attendee at Dialog, Longview impressed me with the superior quality of the conference - the technical content was outstanding, the dialogue with fellow customers was enlightening, and the attentiveness by the Longview staff was very professional,” said Paul Schuster, Vice President Corporate Finance and Treasurer at Trustmark Insurance. “It was also great to meet so many wonderful fellow users and hear how they apply the Longview set of solutions to their unique business operations.”

Expanded Role for Sponsors

One of the many additions to Dialog 2010 was the introduction of a Solutions Lab which featured trade booths from official conference sponsors—Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and MicroStrategy. Attendees were able to meet one-on-one in a relaxed and informal setting while getting a better understanding of each sponsor’s product and service offering.

Diverse Conference Tracks

This year, attendees chose from over 50 breakout sessions that were divided into five main tracks—CPM, Strategic Trends and Best Practices, Learning, Tax, and IT/Technology. The CPM track included featured presentations from clients, including Cisco, UPS, Trustmark Insurance, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and ShawCor, to name a few. The Strategic Trends & Practices track showcased respected industry experts as they discussed key topics, such as How to Create a Financial Centre of Excellence, the Evolution of the Performance Management Market and Technology, and How to Profitably Grow Your Business with an Innovative Approach.

Dialog also featured a dedicated Tax track that showcased the issues most important to the tax function and how to leverage the combined power of tax and corporate performance management (CPM) technology to improve productivity.
