Fred Coon, Chairman and CEO of Stewart, Cooper & Coon, delivered a workshop at the 2010 Recon Summit on Managing an Effective Job Search, receiving high reviews.

Over the weekend of May 25, Las Vegas, NV was host to Recon: The largest global real estate convention. The convention consisted of more than 30,000 attendees, 1,000 exhibitors and over 3,800 retail participants. Headlining the list of presenters was Robert Reich, economist and former U.S. Secretary of Labor, Blake Nordstrom, President of Nordstrom and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Fred Coon, Chairman and CEO of Stewart, Cooper & Coon presented a workshop to the attendees on Managing an Effective Job Search. Fred Coon is a Licensed Employment Agent, a Nationally Certified Job and Career Transition Coach, a Behavioral Consultant, and Ready, Aim, Hired, is a best-selling career transition book that has Fred authored.

“One of the aspects that I stressed at the workshop was selling your individual SE Ratio,” Fred Coon said. “Just as stocks have a PE Ratio, or price-to-earnings ratio, you as an individual have an SE Ratio, or salary-to-earnings ratio. It is crucial that you can use quantifiable achievements to determine what your SE ratio is, and then demonstrate to prospective employers that you will deliver the greatest ROI of any other applicants.”
