Like the bright night sky that pulses across all borders, Planetary Nights has been streaming its original Americana rock ‘n’ roll directly to a worldwide audience. By leveraging the vast reach and the direct listener access of Internet music platforms like Jango ( and AirPlay Direct, within several months Planetary Nights has attracted over 10,000 fans from over 100 countries – proving once again that rock ‘n’ roll is truly a universal language!

After releasing Elliptical Motion, last year’s debut LP, Planetary Nights’ singer-songwriter R.J. McSweeney has been busy licensing his music for use on television and performing at rock venues across New York City. This year, Planetary Nights released Live ‘n’ Untethered, recorded at those clubs and capturing the raw energy of its unique garage band vibe.

Planetary Nights will be back in the studio next month to begin recording an exciting collection of new songs for an upcoming album, Infinite Embrace. Many of those new songs have been added to the set list at shows like the one in N.Y.C. next Friday, June 18th (10pm) at Parkside Lounge (317 East Houston Street).
