The Charlotte (N.C.) Automobile Dealers Association has invited Mark Griggs, president of Dirextion Inc., to be the guest presenter at its June meeting. Griggs will discuss digital media strategies with the dealers, including methods to build and maintain successful social media programs.

The Charlotte (N.C.) Automobile Dealers Association has invited Mark Griggs, president of Dirextion Inc., to be the guest presenter at its June meeting. Griggs will discuss digital media strategies with the dealers, including methods to build and maintain successful social media programs.

The meeting will be held June 23, from 8:30-11 a.m., at Hendrick Automotive University in Charlotte.

Griggs has a quarter-century of experience in traditional and digital media and is a self-described geek. After eight years with AOL Time Warner, he compiled his knowledge of media and technology into Dirextion Inc. He is a sought-after speaker for his insights on digital media marketing and advertising.

“The basic tenets of media and advertising have not changed — only the mediums have changed,” said Griggs. By using his ability to explain the present transition of media in terms all business owners can grasp, Griggs and his team at Dirextion have become a resource to companies searching for solutions to the new ways of doing business.
