AirNet Systems, Inc. announced today plans to launch a new early AM overnight delivery service for documents and small packages weighing 1-10 lbs. The new service, called SuperSaver Pak, offers the latest package pick ups in the industry – as late as 1:00 a.m. – with overnight delivery as early as 7:30 a.m. to over 20 major metropolitan markets in the United States. SuperSaver Pak service also offers customers the ability to drop off packages as late as 2:00 a.m. in many markets.

“This new service is perfect for people who work in a fast paced environment that have critical time deadlines,” stated Frank C. DiMaria, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “SuperSaver Pak is the perfect mixture of speed and efficiency that is not easily matched by any other courier company in the industry. Given the contracting commercial airlines’ schedule and the cut off limitations that the large courier companies have on their hub networks, AirNet is uniquely qualified to offer this service with our own aircraft network.”

Available beginning June 1, 2010, customers will be able to request this service by talking to their AirNet sales representative and arranging for this service. A package pick up can be scheduled by calling AirNet’s Customer Resource Center at 888-888-TIME (8463). Customer service representatives are available 24/7/365 to arrange for shipments and provide up-to-the minute status information on customers’ shipments.

Customers can also schedule a shipment by using AirNet’s online shipping portal AirNet Connect. AirNet Connect also provides 24/7/365 real time visibility to customers’ shipments, as well as a wide array of management reports for download.

Utilizing its company-owned fleet of over 185 aircraft, AirNet has traditionally offered the most reliable time-critical shipping options in the industry with the latest pick ups and earliest deliveries.

“Using our own aircraft allows us tremendous flexibility to depart later than our competitors, yet still meet our customers early morning delivery deadlines.” DiMaria added. “We are tremendously excited about our new SuperSaver Pak service, as we have many customers in the legal, insurance, banking, and financial industries that need overnight delivery with later pick up and drop off cut off times than our competitors offer.”

In addition to the legal, insurance, banking, and financial industries, AirNet expects the late night pick up service to appeal to other industries that ship time-sensitive packages that require a higher degree of custody and control, including the entertainment and manufacturing industries.
