YasuJutaro Artisan Jewelry by designer, Pamela Gillie, will be making its debut at Bloomingdales in White Plains, New York on June 15th for a three-day trunk show. This will be the first of many as YasuJutaro plans on showing at Bloomingdales on both coasts, late summer 2010. This handcrafted jewelry line is carefully crafted with the finest artisan-designed elements including Italian and German glass, Venetian glass, rough-cut Roman glass, gemstones, hand-forged fine silver charms, Swarovski crystals, hand-dipped leaves, freshwater pearls, sterling silver, and natural brass.
YasuJutaro’s organic yet sophisticated designs emanate from Pamela’s passion for interesting art with an edge. She intermingles her findings into unexpected compositions -- jeweled art pieces. Roman glass shards are paired with freshwater pearls and sterling silver and natural brass provides the canvas for Italian and German glass beads and faceted gemstones. Hand-dipped leaves are the backdrops for jewels and silk and laser-etched mother of pearl shells gracefully hang from chunky handmade sterling silver chains.
Pamela’s eye for color, detail, and balance, along with her artsy edge, allows one to experience jewelry as art.
Designer Pamela Gillie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California but has resided in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey for six years. With a fine arts degree in graphic design, Pamela uses her extensive experience with color and balance to create one-of-a-kind pieces designed for effortless wear from day into evening.
YasuJutaro will be at Bloomingdales in White Plains, New York from 11-5 on Tuesday, June 15th through Thursday, June 17th. You can also visit the YasuJutaro Artisan Jewelry Collection at http://www.yasujutaro.com.
