Dinner's On Us Event Features First Annual Bloganthropy Awards

More than 2,000 women bloggers from around the nation will flock to New York City for the annual BlogHer convention this August 6th-7th. The evening of August 5th - when those bloggers arrive in town -- Child's Play Communications will host a more intimate gathering, Dinner's On Us, where 100 leading mom bloggers and 10 sponsors can more easily network and learn about what each has to offer the other. As an added attraction, the event will also feature the first annual Bloganthropy Awards, designed to recognize bloggers who have used social media to support good causes.

This will be Child's Play Communications' fourth major mom-blogger event. The agency will treat blogger guests to an authentic NYC night out--a great dinner buffet at which sponsors may exhibit their products for review and create relationships with bloggers for the future. The exhibit area will be low-key, with simple, table top displays. Because this invitation-only event will feature no more than 10 exhibitors, it provides brands with prime exposure.
