Suzanne DeLaurentiis Teams With Dr. Richard Meyers to bring his life experiences to film

Veteran Filmmaker Suzanne DeLaurentiis is in development on a film project based on the fact and fiction about the experiences of Dr. Richard W. Meyers, a former Chief Medical Officer for the US Military.

Dr. Meyers spent a number of years at a government military processing station and paints a vivid contrast between enlisted youth against the backdrop of physicians in the twilight of their careers.    

As a chief medical officer, Dr. Meyers is responsible for evaluating the physical and mental health of all persons applying for entrance into the armed forces. He sees the youth coming in and eventually those whose lives are forever changed by the devastation of their experiences in the armed services that bonds them indelibly into history.

DeLaurentiis, a tireless advocate and recipient of the distinguished Orcom Award for her support to wounded soldiers and their families returning from Iraq and Afghanistan is excited to bring this story to life.

About Dr. Richard Meyers: Dr. Meyers has enjoyed many interesting hobbies, including sports cars, motorcycling, sailing, and flying. He spends his spare time writing poetry, as well as woodworking and some basic arts and crafts.

About Suzanne DeLaurentiis: Suzanne DeLaurentiis is a 30 year plus filmmaker who has built her name and her company on the belief that passion, dedication, and strong stories, make great films. After producing numerous feature films, TV pilots, commercials and music videos, she has been honored with many prestigious awards.
