My God's Facebook, in an effort to help people find jobs will be inviting members and non-members to list available job positions.

As another way to extend a helping hand

Declaring it “As another way to extend a helping hand,”Richard Kaye, a high-level site spokesperson today confirmed rumors that My God’s Facebook is seeking listings of job opportunities from its huge member base (mygodsfacebook.com). “We have over one hundred thousand men and women who are involved in all kinds of businesses and work for companies big and small. We are calling out to them to post descriptions of available positions. This information should include salaries, required experience, geographic locations, and a web address for visitors to respond to. Further particulars can be provided direct from the listing member upon contact.”

Richard Kaye went on to say, “My God’s Facebook site will be open to all job seekers regardless of their religious beliefs, race, color or gender. It is of course, free and we are hoping to obtain many listings that will result in significant employment opportunities.”

When asked about job openings that may come from all over the world, Richard Kaye said, “Excellent! We want the geographic employment boundaries to have no limitations. While our main concentration is here in the United States, job cut-backs are a worldwide problem. If we can unite someone with a job in a remote corner of this planet, we would be very gratified.”

When asked why My God’s Facebook does not quite resemble most people’s idea of a social network, Richard Kaye replied, “That’s because we are not place for profanity, obscenity or hurtful comments. The truth is we never forget our role as Christians. While we offer most amenities of other social networks (plus some that they do not), reaching out to our fellow human beings remains an important function of who and what we are.”

Richard Kaye's point seemed well-taken inasmuch as My God’s Facebook announced they will soon also be listing descriptions of lost children. “Re-uniting youngsters with families and finding work for the unemployed is the least we can do for others. “But,” he emphasized, “As additional needs arise we will address them as well.”

The My God’s Facebook spokesman, Richard Kaye, also confirmed they are still waiting for a reply from President Obama to their invitation to become a member. More information regarding, placement of listings and review of job openings can be found at mygodsfacebook.com. NOTE: New services are expected to begin by July 1, 2010 so return visits to the site are recommended.
