Here at OC Lifesmiles, our purpose is twofold: to create beautiful smiles and keep them looking and feeling great.
Newport Beach, CA (Vocus) June 15, 2010
Dr. John Cross and Dr. Kelli Junker, cosmetic dentists in Newport Beach, are now offering the latest in advanced dental technology at their OC Lifesmiles progressive dentistry practice with the implementation of Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. With the CEREC® 3D software, the dentists are able to provide one-visit restorations for cosmetic and restorative dentistry patients, while avoiding temporary restorations and extended waiting periods associated with the traditional process of restorative dentistry.
To create porcelain dental veneers in Newport Beach with the CEREC® process, Dr. Cross or Dr. Junker will prepare the tooth in need of restoration as they typically would, by removing any damaged tissue or tooth decay. Digital impressions are then taken through an infrared camera attached to the CEREC® software, creating 3D images of the patient’s teeth. The dentists use these impressions to design the patient’s new restoration in minutes. The design is then sent to the milling unit, which crafts the custom restoration while the patient waits in the office for the final fit and examination.
The addition of CEREC® software allows OC Lifesmiles to create single-visit porcelain dental crowns in Newport Beach, while avoiding multiple appointments and uncomfortable temporary restorations. Dr. Cross and Dr. Junker say the 3D software enables them to provide their patients with convenient, advanced technology, which they believe is of the utmost importance as they create high quality veneers, crowns, inlays, and outlays at their Newport Beach practice.
To provide their patients with comprehensive cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Dr. Cross and Dr. Junker, along with their team of trained hygienists at OC Lifesmiles, say they combine an artistic eye with cutting edge technology. “Here at OC Lifesmiles, our purpose is twofold: to create beautiful smiles and keep them looking and feeling great.”
With the addition of CEREC® 3D technology, the doctors say they are further equipped to provide quick, painless, quality dental care.
