Axpona, the East Coast’s premier high performance audio show, is set for Atlanta in 2011. The newly renovated Sheraton Atlanta will be the show’s home from April 14 through April 17. And, according to show executives, next year’s installment will have more exhibitors and more attendees than this year’s inaugural show in Jacksonville, considered the most successful “first show” in many years.

The more than 2,000 attendees of the 2010 event were treated to a show featuring more than 160 brands spread throughout 40 separate exhibit spaces. Both exhibitors and attendees were exhilarated and closed the event looking forward to AXPONA 2011.

More than 25 companies, including Krell, Legacy and VAC, have already committed to exhibiting at AXPONA 2011, according to Steve Davis, managing partner. “We are nearly a year out,” Mr. Davis said, “and most of the companies who were with us for Jacksonville have indicated that they will be in Atlanta.”

“Year One was a learning experience,” Mr. Davis said. “First of all, we learned that our idea of an East Coast show was not merely viable, but welcomed. For 2011, we have moved to a larger market and dramatically increased exhibit space while maintaining our devotion to providing exhibitors with the hard-walled rooms they need. We’ve also made it easier for companies to exhibit by developing an innovative “payment-over-time” system that allows them to space out the cost.”

“We look forward to a great show,” Mr. Davis concluded. “The move to Atlanta will allow more consumers to experience high performance audio and to understand how music, reproduced well, can make a real difference in their quality of life.

Audio Expo North America's mission is to further the faithful reproduction of music. Its outreach, by education and demonstration, is to dealers and consumers. It is dedicated to the proposition that living with music is different and better than living without music. The organization's AXPONA Show, is scheduled for April 14-17, 2011.
