LunaMetrics, a Pittsburgh-based internet consulting firm, is hosting a day-long search engine optimization (SEO) training workshop June 23, 2010 geared toward small business owners, webmasters, in-house marketers and traditional marketers looking to branch out into digital. The interactive training will be focused on giving participants actionable tips and advice to increase traffic to their websites.
Adam Golomb, Director of E-Commerce at Eat'n Park Hospitality Group, will be giving a keynote address to discuss the importance of SEO and the success that Eat'n Park has had. Seven sessions throughout the day will explore the basics of SEO, as well as dive into specific strategies on topics such as keyword research, link building, local search, social media and Google Analytics. The final session will be a site clinic, where participants can ask questions and receive feedback and advice for their own websites.
LunaMetrics is a Google Analytics Certified Partner and Trainer, Google AdWords Certified Partner and a Google Website Optimizer Certified Partner. They've offered Google Analytics training in New York City and Washington DC since August 2008, and decided the time was right for SEO training in Pittsburgh.
"A lot of businesses struggle with their online presence, especially how to be found," says Robbin Steif, LunaMetrics Owner and CEO. "With the right training and knowledge, they can really stand head and shoulders above their competitors online."
Leading the training day will be Christina Keffer and Jim Gianoglio. Keffer and Gianoglio each have more than five years of experience in SEO and online marketing and have spoken both locally and nationally at leading edge SEO conferences.
The price for the training, which includes a boxed lunch and training materials, is $199. It will be held at Left Field Meeting Space, across from PNC Park, at 115 Federal Street. More information can be found at http://www.lunametrics.com/seo or by calling 412-381-5500.
