Steven P. Meyer (http://www.ball-law.com/attorneys/smeyer.php), a shareholder at the firm, has been nominated to serve on the Greater Lafayette Commerce Board of Directors, which is tantamount to election. Mr. Meyer is currently a member of the City of Lafayette Common Council and serves as a Director on the Area IV Council on Aging Development Board; Friendship House, Inc.; and Lafayette Urban Enterprise Association. His practice focuses on personal injury, general litigation, criminal defense, and family law.
Carlos Carrillo, an attorney at Ball Eggleston, recently received the Certificate of Achievement from the Indiana Supreme Court for the Indiana Court Interpreter Certification Program deeming him to be a National Consortium Certified Interpreter in the Spanish language for the State of Indiana. Mr. Carrillo was presented with this certificate on May 6, 2010.
