WT Cox Subscriptions is preparing for a July release of CoxNet by previewing the newly designed customer interface at ALA 2010 in Washington, DC. After customer feedback, testing, redesigns and enhancing data fields, this impressive serials management tool will be made available to serial librarians to help manage their print and electronic serial collections.

Even with enhanced administrative controls that allows for page customization and account manipulation, WT Cox Subscriptions has managed to keep simplicity and ease-of-use at the forefront of the user interface. The redesign of the back-end database and enhanced features of the user interface offers customers more power, more information, more flexibility and additional functionality that will provide greater collection management tools and details for the library. Most data and functions can be obtained with two clicks from the main homepage; making title details easily accessible throughout was a key to the redesign.

“Customers are going to be impressed by the simplicity and the amount of information they have access to,” says Bonnie Cribbs, Director of Sales & Marketing for WT Cox Subscriptions. “Whether it’s simple claiming for consumer titles or in-depth licensing and access details for electronic journals, we were very intentional to make data access and functionality simple and easy. We’re excited to make this service available in July, and are ready to show it off at ALA.”

WT Cox Subscriptions used a new design team in order to get a more innovative and fresh perspective on work flows and data details. Being involved with multiple subscription agencies, multiple rebuilds, and the expertise of academic, special and public libraries, this design team was able to greatly enhance the current user interface into an extraordinarily impressive serials management tool. The years of added experience to the design team, along with the impressive high level of customer satisfaction will place WT Cox Subscriptions at the forefront of product offerings among other subscription agencies.

Mike Harwell, Director of Strategic Marketing: Academic and Medical, says, “Our academic and medical libraries will have a wealth of information about titles, packages, electronic content all available with minimal clicks of the mouse. This is a tool the serial and collection development teams will greatly depend on. With customizable features and interfaces consistent with the needs of various market segments, WT Cox has answered the desires and expectations of its Library Customers. At WT Cox, we pride ourselves on being more of an ‘Information Partner’ as opposed to simply a vendor and continue to foster that relationship.”
