Until now, secure communications were possible only if both the sender and the recipient were inside the Blackberry network. Our SafeRelay module solves this problem by securing all email messages and attachments through the Safe-T Enterprise Server.

The expanded support was enabled by eTouchware’s new SafeRelay module that allows global deployment of the Safe-T Secure Managed File Transfer Solution without any mail server plug-ins or changes to the configuration of users’ mail clients or PDAs. By deploying SafeRelay, mail servers and Blackberry devices can be used to securely send messages and attachments with encryption, one-time passwords, download limits, expiration dates and a variety of other security measures.
“Blackberry is prized by the enterprise for its secure communications,” says Amir Mizhar, CEO and Founder of eTouchware. “But until now, secure communications were possible only if both the sender and the recipient were inside the Blackberry network. Our SafeRelay module solves this problem by securing all email messages and attachments through the Safe-T Enterprise Server.”
In addition to extending Blackberry’s secure communications outside of the Blackberry network, SafeRelay enables Blackberry users to receive files of any size without clogging or freezing their Blackberry device. With Safe-T, only a link to file attachment is forwarded to a recipient and the actual attachment is safely stored on the corporate network behind the DMZ. Once a Blackberry user receives a message with a large attachment, he can download the large files from a laptop or desktop at his convenience. All messages and attachments can also be sent using AES encryption.
