Local remodeling company helps add value to homes in a tough real estate market.

The project was completed on time and on budget, and I get compliments on my new home office all the time.

Renewal Remodels and Additions, the premier remodel and reconstruction company, recently won 7 Remodeling Excellence Awards (REX) for home design and remodel.

The awards were given by the Master Builders Association of Pierce County on May 18th at Tacoma Country and Golf Club. Awards are given for the best in remodeling for the past year.

There were 39 entries submitted, by 12 companies. Renewal Remodels and Additions won 7 of the 21 awards. This was more than any company involved in the competition.

They won awards for:

Historic Renovation Restoration, Whole House $75K-$150K, Whole House over $500K, Universal Design, Residential Kitchen under $50K, Kitchen $50k-$100K and Kitchen under $75K.

Renewal Remodels & Additions specializes in home remodeling and has won multiple REX Awards since 2001 for superior design and remodel.

Over the past year the value of most homes in Pierce County fell by 9-12%. Having a kitchen or bathroom remodeled adds value to a home and helps it sell faster in a tough real estate market. They use a unique “Design-build” process. It’s a construction process where the design and construction of a project are handled under one roof. This insures increased accountability and access, single-source project management, minimized risk to delays, losses and funding, greater efficiency and flexibility throughout development.
