Cortona3D has now established a partnership with CORENA, which allows our joint customers to take advantage of the technologies of the two companies. As a result of this partnership CORENA will manage the Cortona3D generated content in its CORENA S1000D CSDB and would publish the content coming both from Cortona3D and from other authoring sources such as an XML editor into advanced IETPs.
CORENA systems deliver the right information at the right time - enabling customers to optimize their processes and complete the job correctly and with minimal resource allocation. With tailored solutions for specific industries CORENA addresses specific requirements and challenges for technical publications and aftermarket domains.
The benefits of the partnership for users include:
- standards compliance to S1000D
- reduced risk of inconsistent or out-of-date technical documentation
- shortened length and complexity of the publications cycle
- a common platform for effectively integrating otherwise isolated information assets
Prior to the announcement several joint customers have shown interest in this combined offering.
Matthew Booth, VP Global Sales at Cortona commented, “This partnership enables CORENA customers to have a single source for both an S1000D compliant CMS and their authoring requirements. This full integration of Cortona3D authoring tools into the CORENA system will speed customer’s development of technical documentation delivering the advantages of both systems -- faster development, minimal resource allocation, reduced costs, greater accuracy and easier compliance.”
