The Tulsa Praise Orchestra is getting rave reviews these days with their ‘swingin’ patriotic show “Let Freedom Ring, Sing & Swing”.
This 21-piece Big Band has definitely struck a chord with their energetic brand of Patriotic and Gospel music.
“This is our way of celebrating family, faith & freedom with a Big Band flair” says Bob Archer, owner and Creative Director. “We’re having a blast right along with the audiences”.
For the past 15 years this award-winning band has been performing all across the Midwest, from Tulsa to Branson, from Dallas to Santa Fe. The Tulsa Praise Orchestra is made up of 5 trumpets, 5 trombones, 5 saxes, French horn, piano, bass, guitar, drums and vocals.
“We are incredibly blessed to have some of the finest vocalists on the planet” Archer explains. “Ernestine Dillard and Dave Boyer are world-class entertainers; we love working with them”.
Ernestine Dillard achieved international acclaim with her stunning rendition of “God Bless America Medley” she so beautifully sang at the Memorial Service for the Victims of the Oklahoma City Bombing of the Murrah Federal Building. Ernestine received a standing ovation from the audience which included then U.S. President Bill Clinton, Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating, and Evangelist Billy Graham.
Dave Boyer is a true legend in the music business, getting his early start with Frank Sinatra. Dave has sang throughout the country for the past 40 years. Dave’s inspiring story of triumph over adversity through God’s grace is compelling. Couple this story with the power of his rich voice and the backing of a big band and it's a knockout, amazing performance. Dave has sang for 4 presidential events and countless concert audiences.
Together, the Tulsa Praise Orchestra, Dave Boyer & Ernestine Dillard will present “Let Freedom Ring, Sing & Swing” on June 26th at the Southern Hills Marriott Hotel in Tulsa, OK.
