1GOAL is an initiative seizing the power of football. FIFA, world leaders and famous footballers across the world have joined hands in a campaign to bring attention to the plight of 72 million children across the globe who currently have no access to education.
In support of 1GOAL, Stardoll established a World Cup area on the site where members are introduced to the campaign and receive a virtual version of the 1GOAL T-shirt in their suite. To date, an astounding 95,000 members have participated and joined 1GOAL in less than two weeks.
Stardoll also included Grammy award winning artist and 1GOAL Ambassador Shakira who last month issued a YouTube challenge to 1song, 1dance, 1GOAL, (http://www.join1goal.org) advocates and World Cup athletes and fans. “Can you do the Waka Waka?” She requested everyone to record their dance and post it as a sign of support to help all children attend school and get the education they deserve.
