The upgrade includes an exceptional hotel block system that allows registrants to book hotel rooms within pre-set blocks across multiple properties. Additionally, the system also includes a roommate pairing tool which gives planners the ability to set detailed matching cues in order to provide an accurate match. By working in tandem with meeting planners, SignUp4 developed the robust Hotel Block and Roommate Management system in order to accommodate their needs. The product sports the same level of flexibility as the current suite of products in SignUp4's Strategic Meetings Management tool.
The SignUp4 Hotel Block and Roommate Management System was designed and developed outside the industry standard based on current client needs and suggestions. The ability for an attendee to be able to book hotel rooms across multiple properties came at the request of clients with complex corporate meetings and events which include travel to different areas during an offsite meeting. The system allows multiple hotel bookings within the set number of blocks negotiated by each company and tracks them in flexible and easy to use reports.
The Roommate Management tool is a new feature to the system, and is unique in its ability to match roommates based on multiple parameters, at the decision of the planner. In addition to the gender match, roommates can be paired by company, department, language, or any number of customizable prompts. This allows corporate meeting planners to match attendees who have not pre-selected their roommate or who have no roommate preference based on best matches for optimal event success.
