Petroleum GIS Experts Expand into Asia Pacific with Alliance Geotechnical Services

According to the latest oil & gas report from Business Monitor International, Asian oil imports are growing rapidly as demand growth is outstripping the pace of supply expansion. By 2014 the prediction is that whilst China, Japan, India and South Korea will all need to import oil, Malaysia will be the region’s only net exporter. Exprodat Consulting, specialists in implementing GIS technology within the oil and gas industry, has entered into a partnership with Malaysian-based Alliance Geotechnical Services (AGS) to support this expanding and developing industry.

AGS will work with Exprodat to promote, market and sell their innovative and established suite of GIS-based exploration and production (E&P) Team-GIS™ software, as well as to organise specialist petroleum focussed ArcGIS consultancy and training services to oil & gas professionals based in both Malaysia and Indonesia.
