New York, NY (PRWEB) June 24, 2010
Tailored Technologies is proud to announce that company president Richard Nathan has been appointed to the board of Charity Navigator, America’s largest charity evaluator.
Nathan founded Tailored Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marks Paneth & Shron, in 1985, establishing the company as a full-service management consulting and technology firm headquartered in New York City. For more than 25 years, Nathan has worked collaboratively with business and non-profits to improve financial, management and operational software selection, perform E-ValuTech™ technology assessments and improve business processes.
“Richard’s incredible results working with several area non-profit organizations demonstrates his ability to help non-profits increase efficiency and reduce expenses,” said Ken Berger, president and CEO of Charity Navigator.
Charity Navigator is the largest charity evaluator in America, with a Web site that attracts more visitors than all other charity rating groups combined. Charity Navigator works to guide intelligent giving by assessing the financial health of more than 5,000 of America's best-known charities. Last year alone, more than four million donors used their site to access expert analysis and commentary on the charitable sector.
As a Board member, Nathan is part of the team that sets the organization’s strategic direction and assists with identifying the resources to fulfill its mission. “As part of this role, I will use my skills to identify opportunities and resources to use technology effectively and efficiently in order to meet our mission and continually improve our user’s experience,” Nathan said.
Nathan is currently a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and the Business Process Management Group. His charitable affiliations include the Charity Navigator Board, New Jersey Audubon Society, Earth Justice and the Sierra Club.
