Tara Meyer-Robson, author of The Flow: 40 Days to Total Life Transformation and the creator of The Flow Method, a scientifically-based mind, body, and life transformation program, is competing for her own talk show on Oprah’s brand-new OWN network. Her audition has over 160,000 votes and has been in the top 2 - 5% of entries for the entire competition to date.

‘’I have been honored to help many people heal from cancer and other ‘’incurable diseases,’’ so I feel I have a unique perspective to share that is not represented now.’’

She has won awards for her work, has helped people from around the globe transform their lives, and just arrived home from a whirlwind nine-day book tour in Romania, but now Tara Meyer-Robson has her sights set on a another big dream: to host her own talk show on Oprah Winfrey’s brand-new OWN network.

On May 14th, 2010, Oprah Winfrey announced a contest to win your own talk show to the brand-new OWN network. Much like American Idol, many of the winners will be selected based on votes gathered during the contest period, which runs until July 3rd.

“A friend called me up and said, “You have to do this!” I immediately knew that a project I was already working on - Carpe Diem 52 - was perfect for a show idea,” explains Tara.

She is pitching a show called Carpe Diem 52: One person. One week. One major breakthrough. As she explains in her video audition, her concept is to find one person who has lost their joy of life, feels stuck, or who has recently been diagnosed with a disease, and work with them for a week. During the week, Tara will use her skills and The Flow Method program to quickly get to the bottom of the negative patterns going on and create a life-changing transformation. At the end of the week, she will help this individual live one “Carpe Diem” experience - something they have always wanted to do but never believed they could - to show them how fearless and amazing they really are.

In addition, there will be a Carpe Diem 52 site where viewers can get tips from Tara on breaking negative patterns and also upload video of themselves “seizing the day,” making the site and concept highly interactive.

“The concept is intended to show viewers that it is possible to make a breakthrough that will last a lifetime.” Tara points out. “But more than that, I would like to show people how to take back control over their lives and their bodies, and truly live each day to the fullest.”

Moreover, Tara will use her medical intuitive gift to help individuals tie together the underlying issues in their lives and minds that can turn into disease.

“I have been honored to help many people heal from cancer and other “incurable diseases,” so I feel I have a unique perspective to share that is not represented now.” Tara says with a smile. “I love to teach people how to understand what their bodies are saying so that they can take back power from disease and even stop the illness or pain before it happens.”

Gathering over 160,00 votes to date and sailing past many other entries that have been up for two weeks longer than hers, she is thrilled to see the response she has received already.

But, as Tara points out, “I need as much local and global support as I can to win this. I appreciate every single vote!”
