DeGree's Leadership has Played a Signficant Role in Company's Success

His leadership and drive have played a significant role in getting us where we are today, and we wish him all the best.

OceanGrafix, the first and only company to offer NOAA print-on-demand nautical charts, today announced that Dave DeGree has retired after serving as president for 10 years. Following his retirement, DeGree will continue to act in an advisory role for the company.

Ron Walz, who has played a key role in the OceanGrafix business since its inception in 2000, will assume the role of president. Previously, Walz was responsible for the development of the software and processes used in producing OceanGrafix charts. In addition, Ron has held several important positions involving digital graphics in an OceanGrafix-related company, Vomela Specialty Co., since starting there in 1983.

“Dave has been an outstanding leader throughout his time with the company,” says Vomela CEO Tom Auth. “His leadership and drive have played a significant role in getting us where we are today, and we wish him all the best.”
