Half-Day Seminars on HR Best Practices are Overwhelmingly Successful Nationwide

Bluebird University, an innovative company offering complete outsourced seminar solutions, partnered with ADP and Franklin Covey to produce a series of half-day seminars for Human Resources professionals in six cities across the United States. The free seminars, titled "How HR Can Drive Business Growth Through a Comprehensive Employee Engagement Strategy and Execution Plan," attracted both Human Resource and C-Level executives.

The seminars were part of a new series, The HR Strategy and Execution Series, and focused on best practices in human resources. They were organized to address a recent study of over 200 CEOs that found that their two top challenges were excellence in execution and consistent execution of strategy by top management. ADP and Franklin Covey joined together to address these issues and help HR professionals gain a sustainable, actionable approach to reaching their business goals. The two organizations tapped Bluebird University to produce the events, from marketing through execution.

The seminars were divided into three sessions, each focused on providing attendees with practical, use-today information:

  • Employee Engagement Strategy & HR Best Practices, which highlighted the importance of HR viewed as a source of sustainable competitive advantage; the impact and challenges of driving employee engagement; and how to increase employee engagement through best practices
  • How to Successfully Execute Your HR Strategy, which explained the challenges of executing on a well-planned strategy, the four steps that create change and drive results, and keeping teams focused on the four steps amidst competing priorities.
  • Executing Your Strategy Workshop, which provided an opportunity to identify what HR professionals and executives can do to improve their Human Resources efforts and increase productivity.

Speakers included executives from both organizations, including Linda Mougalian, Vice President, Product Management at ADP and Nancy McCarthy, Division VP of HR, ADP Major Account Services. Seminars were held in Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Syracuse, and Parsippany, NJ.
