The Cruise Guide Network has launched a new guide to cruises from Miami, Florida - the world's busiest cruise port. MiamiCruiseGuide.com is a free online guide that includes a complete schedule of cruises departing from the port of Miami, ship descriptions, information about the Miami cruise port and some options for hotels located near the cruise terminals.

"We're happy to be able to announce the opening of this new Miami cruise resource for those who do their cruise planning online," said Greg Manter, owner of the Cruise Guide Network. "Miami is the world's most popular cruise departure point, so it was the logical next addition to our network of cruise web sites."

There are over 800 cruises scheduled to depart from Miami in the next 12 months and Miami Cruise Guide has detailed information about all of them. Cruise schedules can be viewed by month, ship, cruise line or destination for easy review by the site's visitors. Information provided for each cruise includes the departure date, cruise length, ship name, cruise line and itinerary. Schedules are updated regularly to reflect changes and additions made by the cruise companies that serve Miami.

Miami Cruise Guide has information about 23 cruise ships that sail from Miami, including the big new Norwegian Epic which embarks on its first seven night eastern Caribbean cruise on July 10th. The "Miami Cruise Ships" section of the site includes details about the ships operated by eight major cruise lines, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Azamara Club Cruises, Costa Cruises, Crystal Cruises and Oceania Cruises. Information about each ship includes discussion of available accommodations, dining options, recreational and sports amenities, onboard entertainment, nightlife, ship size, inaugural cruise date and photographs of the ship.

The Miami cruise port is located on Dodge Island, in Biscayne Bay between Miami and Miami Beach, accessible by a short bridge from the Miami end of the island. MiamiCruiseGuide.com has details about the the terminals and available on-site parking. Information is also provided for cruise transportation from Miami Airport and driving directions for those planning on driving directly to the port.

Cruise passengers looking for places to stay in the area before or after their cruise will find a useful guide to nearby hotels on the Miami Cruise Guide web site. There are several hotels within a mile of the port in downtown Miami and many more a reasonable taxi ride away in Miami Beach.
