Having lost 22lbs on the course, I’m now feeling fitter, stronger and confident about myself and there is no going back.

Realising he’d become stuck in an eating and exercise rut Ben decided it was time to take action and joined the Lose & Shape Up programme.
“The weekly seminars were excellent and gave me a wake-up call on what I had been doing wrong for a number of years. I followed the online meal plan until I had an understanding on what was required, and at that point I had changed my attitude to food and will never go back to my previous habits. Having lost 22lbs on the course, I’m now feeling fitter, stronger and confident about myself and there is no going back.” says Ben.
Rob Beale, Group Health and Fitness Manager at David Lloyd Leisure says, “as predicted the Lose & Shape Up programme has been really popular with our members. We know that most people come to us for two reasons - to lose weight or to shape up so we were keen to develop a programme that was both dynamic and that delivers. It’s really great to hear members like Ben talking so passionately about the course and proving that the programme has been a success”.
The twelve week programme gives members the tools and information, not only to achieve their weight loss, health and fitness goals, but to improve their exercise and eating regimes for good. The programme combines four components: nutrition, resistance training, cardio training and personal training, all of which are tailored to the specific needs of the members.
Lose and Shape Up is available at the gym in Hull and throughout all David Lloyd Leisure clubs.
