CIG Insurance Center-Temecula Valley Reaches New Heights at the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival

CIG Insurance Center - Temecula Valley was among the vendors at the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival. This annual festival brings ballooning enthusiasts from across the country, around the state, and from the local community together for music, ballooning and to help out local non-profit organizations.

Under the clear blue skies of the Temecula Valley, temperatures weren’t the only thing soaring during the weekend of June 4-6. It was time for the annual Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival, an event that welcomes thousands of spectators and ballooning enthusiasts from the local area, around the state and across the country. But more than that, this annual event pulls the community together to promote the people and businesses of Temecula Valley while raising money for kids’ programs and organizations.

By day, hot air balloons painted the sky with colors and amazing shapes, some offering rides for the adventurous. When evening fell, the sights became even more spectacular as the fire-lighted mammoths come to life.

Hot air balloons and wine highlighted the festival, and attendees were also treated to live music on several stages, a freestyle motocross show, food and wine pairings featuring area wines and chefs, and more than 100 local vendors. It was an event that involved the entire community and CIG Insurance Center-Temecula Valley was proud to be a part of it.

“We are proud of our community and this festival allowed us to show off a bit,” said Denise Firmage, Insurance Advisor for CIG Insurance Center-Temecula Valley. “It was also the perfect opportunity to say hello to our policy holders and introduce our products and services to our neighbors.”

As a participating vendor, CIG Insurance Center-Temecula Valley staffed their booth with agents, family members and friends. They were able to draw festival goers by handing out tote bags, seat cushions and other items displaying the CIG logo.

In addition, daily drawings were held and items such as emergency kits, solar safety lights, and bluetooth headsets were awarded. A grand prize of a 32-inch television went to one lucky winner on Sunday. Along the way, they made hundreds of new friends and new contacts.

“It was a lot of work,” noted Jennifer Myers, CIG’s marketing projects coordinator. “But, it was great building brand awareness and meeting new people by being a part of such an incredible event.”
