First Choice Power's Lewisville office has opened its doors and is now serving customers while gearing up for the new location's grand opening on June 30. During the past year, First Choice Power has talked with its Lewisville customers to gain insight into how they could be better served, and the resounding answer was more face-to-face interaction. First Choice Power has responded to this feedback by opening a local office at 1081 West Main Street, Suite 100, just across the street from Lewisville High School.

"We are continually evaluating ways to engage our customers and ensure that we are meeting their expectations as an electric provider," said Brian Hayduk, president of First Choice Power and a Lewisville resident. "Opening a local office will provide our Lewisville customers with the personal interaction they desire, and the team we have in place is well equipped to answer questions and provide the top-notch customer service people expect from First Choice Power."

Lewisville residents and businesses can drop into the office to sign up for service, initiate customized contracts and experience in-person, customized assistance and energy advice. The office is led by Lewisville Chamber of Commerce Board Member Jacob Davis and other team members who are actively involved in the Lewisville community.

"We are excited to get to know and work with our local Lewisville customers, old and new," Davis said. "This team has in-depth knowledge of the gas and energy market, and of the Lewisville area, which enables us to offer advice on energy product offerings for your home to setting up a customized contract that's right for each business."

First Choice Power is an active member of the Lewisville community. In 2009, it was named Lewisville's "Business of the Year."

Grand Opening Events: Wednesday, June 30 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The Lewisville and surrounding community is invited to join the Grand Opening celebration, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m on Wednesday, June 30.

Event activities will include:

  • 99.5 FM, The Wolf, and NASCAR vehicle on display
  • Chances to win NASCAR tickets and additional prizes ranging from gift cards to eco-friendly items
  • Keep Lewisville Beautiful will provide compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs, an initiative made possible through a Reduce Your Useā„¢ Grant that First Choice Power has provided to the organization (available while supplies last).

About the Lewisville Office Building
The office was built with an eye towards energy efficiency and conservation. A lighting system that saves nearly 40 percent of energy towards light consumption by using dimmers to sense the amount of natural light already coming into the space and adjusting the artificial light accordingly was installed. Surfaces throughout the space are made with Bamboo and laminates that are 100 percent recycled from post-industrial waste. All appliances are energy-efficient models.
