Ronald L. Samuels, President and Chief Executive Officer of Avenue Bank, today announced seven promotions including five associates appointed as Vice Presidents.
The five associates promoted to Vice President include Richard Bynum, Credit Underwriter, David Dahlroos, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, Brendan Farran, Credit Underwriter, Dan Neumann, Credit Underwriter, and Jeremy Yeagle, Credit Strategy Manager.
Durham Pettigrew was promoted to Credit Analyst in the Commercial Banking group, and Kelsey Alexander has been promoted to Private Banking Assistant.
“All five of our team members appointed to Vice President have been a part of Avenue Bank since the beginning in 2007,” Mr. Samuels said. “I’m very appreciative of their leadership and dedication and I congratulate them.”
“In addition, having two employees who joined us as Concierge Bankers receive promotions into new roles is exciting for our company, as our growth is creating opportunities for these young professionals’ career advancement.”
Jeremy Yeagle, previously a Commercial Credit Underwriter, was promoted to Vice President and Credit Strategy Manager. In this new role, he will be responsible for the bank’s general credit strategy, loan loss reserve analysis and reporting, and assisting with investor communications.
Mr. Yeagle joined Avenue Bank in October of 2007 as one of the first commercial underwriters helping to establish the new bank. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of the South, Sewanee.
Dan Neumann is a Credit Underwriter with a focus on Residential Construction Lending. He has eight years of experience in banking and underwriting. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
Brendan Farran joined Avenue Bank in February, 2008 with five years experience in retail and business banking. A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Brendan is a graduate of Furman University (B.A. Psychology) and Colorado State University (MBA). He is currently participating in the Nashville Emerging Leaders program and is a member of NAIOP (National Assoc. of Industrial Office Professionals).
David Dahlroos came to Avenue Bank in 2007 and has six years of experience in commercial banking. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, with a Master of Accountancy. He is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement.
Richard Bynum is a Credit Underwriter with a focus in Small Business and Retail Lending. He joined Avenue in 2007 and has over 14 years of banking experience. He has a bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
Durham Pettigrew joined Avenue Bank as a Concierge Banker in 2008 at the Cool Springs branch and most recently worked at the Green Hills location. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and is currently pursuing an MBA degree at the Massey School of Business at Belmont University. Mr. Pettigrew is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
Kelsey Alexander started as a Concierge Banker in 2009 at the Cummins Station branch. Ms. Alexander is a graduate of Belmont University and is a member of the American Marketing Association and Belmont Alumni Association.
