Social design crowdsourcing platform Prova.fm has hired Pamil Visions PR as its new agency of record and the company will begin work immediately on new media campaigns and branding efforts. Pamil Visions' scope of work will include counsel on positioning Prova.fm in the marketplace, reputation building, strategic planning, media management and media monitoring.
"Prova was looking for a partner to provide strategic counsel on numerous disciplines including media relations, social media strategies and positioning, brand strategy. Pamil Visions was chosen for their integrated approach to traditional and social media, and for their experience with early startups, " said David Gash, Prova CEO. "Pamil Visions showcased a strong portfolio, but more importantly, their approach is personal, unique, credible and focused on building relationships, not just buzz."
Adding a casual, personal and fun note to the news, Prova.fm decided to launch a design contest that will reward $250USD to the most popular satirical magazine advert that would portray BP's character in dealing with the Deepwater Horizon disaster.
The competition allows designers to submit satirical ads, comics or any other graphic representation to Prova, and then gives them the opportunity to share their work on Facebook, Twitter and many other social networks. The most popular design is selected not based on page views, but based on number of likes. Each entry can be voted through a simple point and click "I like" button (one click per IP). The design with the most "likes" wins.
The winning designer will be featured on Prova's main page for thirty days, and will also get an editorial feature on Pamil Visions' PR News site, Everything PR - the number one PR news publication in English in Germany. More information about the contest on Prova.fm.
