In his new role, Blair will share responsibility for new business development for IEG's Sponsorship Consulting division.
"With his wealth of experience in sports media and marketing, Bruce will play a critical role in identifying and creating solutions for clients--especially those involved in broadcast properties who are seeking to value, integrate and measure those platforms and produce greater returns," said IEG CEO Laren Ukman.
Blair most recently served as vice president, business development for ESPN national advertising sales in Chicago, responsible for developing new business and upgrading partnerships with CMO and director-level clients and agency representatives for category-leading and emerging brands.

Blair first joined ESPN in 1983 and spent the majority of his career with the network. His experience includes developing new accounts for television, online, mobile, print, radio and event marketing.
As a longtime vice president of ad sales at ESPN, Blair worked with client and agency decision-makers in a variety of management roles. He spent several years managing television network ad sales in the central region, as well as all advertising and partnership sales nationally for the ESPN+ college events and syndication division.
He also served as Leo Burnett/Starcom Worldwide's first vice president-sports media director before returning to ESPN.
